The LLC Academy has seen many students come through our doors who have gone on to do great things. One such student is Duke Kgomotso Machitele, who will today begin a showcase of his work GO GET IT! 10 Views of Diepsloot at the Alliance Française of Johannesburg.
Duke is a photographer and visual storyteller, who has taken the knowledge he gained through his studies at The LLC Academy and gone on to start a business which is 100% aligned to his passion. His work brings to light the people and places of Diepsloot, a township in Johannesburg with something of a reputation.
Duke has a keen eye for composition and movement, which is prevalent throughout his work. His subjects are captured in moments that illustrate joy in the mundane, and the exceptional in the everyday.
The LLC Academy takes immense pride in being part of the South African Project, by supporting local artists and businesses that are loaded with true, South African passion and pizzaz.
